Vita Semplice

This product focuses on the design of an espresso system that integrates the full preparation process into a single, cohesive product, reflecting this balance between functionality and mindful use.  The goal was to deliver a solution that emphasizes simplicity, convenience, and ease of use, while consistently producing a high-quality, bold espresso experience.

Grounded in both cultural insight and user-centered research, the project draws inspiration from the social role of espresso, particularly within Italian culture, where coffee serves as a ritual for connection and conversation. This perspective informed the design direction, emphasizing a slower, more intentional user experience without compromising efficiency.

The concept, “Vita Semplice” meaning simple life, embraces “la dolce vita”, taking the time to slow down, enjoy life’s simple pleasures and be in the moment.
